Orange Shirt Day - October 1

Students and staff are invited to wear orange as part of Orange Shirt Day - "Every Child Matters" to show recognition & understanding that all students matter, regardless of ethnicity, religion etc. Orange Shirt Day is also an opportunity for First Nations, local governments, schools and communities to come together in the spirit of reconciliation and hope for generations of children to come. Identity Day is Coming Soon!

At Forest Green School, we are proud to have such a unique school community. We know that every student and staff member are special, unique and are passionate about different things! We want to share these passions in this year’s Identity Day which will be Thursday, October 11! Identity Day is an opportunity for every student and staff to share their passions, interests or something unique about who they are. This is a great school event that builds connections and community within our school. A letter has been sent home already with more information but in case you missed it please click this link for more details. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher.
